Hi Anish, 

My two cents :).  The purpose of zebra/quaqqa is a centralized
interface(routing manager).  I found zebra, looking for a cisco like
interface for testing.  Running the processes separately works too ;)

You might want to ask this on the Quagga users list.  Quagga is the
actively maintained fork of Zebra.  Not much activity here any more.
