[zebra 23166] Design doc for RIP

Hi,

I am trying to understand routing protocols and their implementation.
I had a look at Ripd.c, but couldn't make out the flow or why its
implemented in a certain way.

A design doc on the implementation would be of great help.
Appreciate if I can get one.
